Applying natural language processing techniques to real data, while developing tactics to model thought in software. students will obtain competency in applied machine learning and its underlying theory, as well as first principle problem solving while they use machine learning to produce intelligent and useful systems.

The AI-Art team provides a space for both programmers and non-programmers alike. For members who want to focus more on the art aspect, they will be using tools from NVIDIA, Google (Deep Dream), Magenta, M15.js, and other companies to create new pieces of art. For those who want a more code-based experience, they will be working through projects, using HiPerGator to not only generate forms of art, but to gain a deeper understanding of different machine learning methods associated with art generation.

Using the Jetson Nano, Raspberry Pi, and the Arduino Uno to explore different AI/ML frameworks within applications like autonomous vehicles, pose/infrared detection, and more throughout the Jetson community. Students will not only be able to gain a deeper understanding of machine learning principles, but will be able to recognize its applications across a variety of industries today.
